NEW CLIENTS AND INITIAL ASSESSMENTS

If you’re a new client or would like to book an initial assessment, please feel free to reach out to me by email at info@bluewaterpelvic.com or leave a voicemail with your contact information at 519-491-5233. I’ll get back to you within 3 business days. I look forward to connecting with you!

POSTPARTUM FOLLOW UP

This 45-minute appointment is designed for patients I had the pleasure of working with during their pregnancy. I recommend scheduling this type of appointment for your first visit after birth, so we have ample time to reassess and discuss your postnatal care.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, 24 hours of advanced notice is required. If you cancel your initial visit within 24 hours of your appointment time, a 50% appointment fee will be charged. You always have the option of converting your initial assessment to virtual if it is more convenient. If you cancel or no show to a follow up visit within 24 hours, it will be subject to the full appointment fee for repeated missed appointments.

I do have a long waitlist so this will be enforced to encourage patients to cancel with enough time to allow me to contact someone on the cancellation list. I appreciate your cooperation!

Pelvic Physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor (a basin of muscle, ligament and fascia at the bottom of the pelvis) to manage pelvic floor dysfunction. Common conditions pelvic floor physiotherapy can help to manage include: bowel and bladder dysfunction (incontinence, urgency and frequency), pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, post-prostatectomy and women both pre and postnatal. The assessment and treatment may include an internal (vaginal and/or rectal) examination of the pelvic floor muscles as well as education about your pelvic floor dysfunction and exercise to improve it.
